Before wearing a latex garment, we advise that you line the inside with Talc powder. This will enable you to slip into the garment with ease. Be sure to avoid using excessive force or pulling of the fabric. Latex is delicate and prone to tear, and pulling may cause permanent disfigurement.
Take extra precautions with jewelry and sharp nails to avoid puncturing the fabric. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces to prevent damage or dulling of its appearance. A silicone polish can be added to maintain a shiny appearance. Apply sparingly using a lint-free cloth, and avoid direct spraying onto the latex.
Do not attempt to polish hard with a dry cloth, as the glossy surface could be permanently scratched.
Please be aware that silicone sprays do not dry completely and can give the latex a sticky texture.
Do not spray perfumes or body sprays directly on latex.
Direct sunlight and heat must be avoided. This may cause damage to the latex or fade its appearance.
Keep all latex products away from direct flames; latex is highly flammable.
Keep latex away from any direct oils, greases and solvents to avoid damage. Do not use any oil-based lubricants or creams.
Avoid placing transparent or light-coloured latex against metal objects such as buckles, zips and press-tuts.
Avoid contact with copper, brass or bronze, as these can permanently stain latex; even handling copper can cause permanent staining to light coloured latex.
Please ensure latex pieces are stored in a dark, cool and dry place such as a closet. Damp storage conditions must be avoided.
For best care, we advise that latex pieces are placed carefully in a plastic bag, and spread them with talc powder to absorb moisture. Latex is a natural material and moisture must be avoided.
Always clean latex after use.
Should the latex become damaged or tear, please seek professional repair services. Do not attempt to wear or repair the latex.
To clean your Latex Garments use warm, clean water with no soap or detergents. Carefully wipe off excess water with a soft towel and leave to dry flat.
Ensure the latex is dry before placing it in an enclosed space to avoid excessive moisture build-up. Lightly dust with talc before putting away.
DO NOT attempt to tumble dry and definitely DO NOT iron or dry clean rubber garments. This will cause irreparable damage.
